Do I need an accountant?

No. Every sale, purchase and expense creates its accounting entries automatically. Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and P&L are generated in one click — no accounting knowledge required.

Which printers and scanners are supported?

Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works plug & play. For receipts, we support standard 58mm and 80mm thermal printers, plus barcode label printers and printer-connected cash drawers.

Can my cashier see my profits?

No. HisaabBox has role-based permissions — Admin, Cashier and Accountant. Cashiers can bill customers but cannot see profits, reports or accounting data.

Is GST invoicing supported?

Yes. There's a 17% GST/Sales Tax toggle per bill, so you can print tax-compliant invoices whenever needed.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is backed up automatically every day, and access is protected with secure login and session protection.
